Handstand Goal ✔️ ———————————
It took me 7 days of dedicated work  supervised by @rene_schwarzl (I just needed 2 days off - so I kind of lost my bet to do it by Sunday but gained a handstand 🤸‍♀️) ___________________________
Today I got several tries around and over 5sec. SWIPE to see my favourite 3.  For many people it’s easy - for someone like me who’s never really worked on upside down skills it was a great challenge!

Why I wanted to learn this skill? Because I can do lots of skills like - strict Ring Muscle Ups, 20+ pull-ups I am on the road to soon benching tripple digits, squatting my own Bodyweight 2,7 times and I thought it’s just not right that I can’t do something as simple as stand on my hands in a pretty way. So I figured it’s time to learn it.

It’s the first step into a new world which is upside down and I love the new perspective! And it’s always great for the ego to do things that you are not good at - and are are TOTAL beginner!

Be an advanced Beginner! .

Have you done dedicated training 5-10 years in your sport? If not then- accept it, you are a beginner (me too). You can’t cheat time. .

The sooner you accept that you are a beginner the more likely you will thrive and rise to be great! .

Muscles, soreness and training is commonly discussed. Actually muscles react very quick to training but it’s the ligaments & joints that need A LOT OF TIME to adapt in a healthy way. .

You can feel great, have amazing results but this won’t make you advanced. Adaption will - training and time will. .
.
Injuries and pain are mostly prone to happen if you overestimate your athletic level and underestimate your need for patience. .
.
If you ask too much too quickly you will soon be doing nothing. .
.
Even beginners can make world records it just means you have the potential to be an outstanding athlete. Take each step at the right time and you will not only go beyond what you thought possible but you won’t only be a shooting star but a legendary new galaxy. .
